A homeowner finds an HVAC company, calls about replacing an AC unit:

Google Ads

Campaign: “Central AC Replacement”

→ returned via Organic search

Tracking number: (555) 014-7733

““...our unit's almost 20 years old and the tech said it's not worth repairing again. What would a full replacement run, and how soon could someone come look at it?””

Homeowner wants a replacement quote for a 20-year-old unit a technician already said isn't worth repairing again. Asked about timing for an in-home estimate.

Lead score 88/100

“Hi! It's Dana from the team you spoke with today. I'd like to get someone out for a replacement estimate — does Thursday or Friday work better?”

Email draft: “Replacement estimate — this week?”

Reviewed by the rep before it sends.

Shown as three separate views. Quill Calls and Quill Hound don't automatically merge these into one record yet — see “Do the products share call data automatically?” below.

Two products. One clearer picture.

Quill Calls

Shows which marketing source produces the calls that come in — the ad, the channel, the search — with dynamic tracking numbers, recording, and lead scoring on every call.

Quill Hound

Handles the call itself and what happens after — routing, recording, an AI summary, and a draft follow-up the rep reviews before it goes out.

From marketing source to next step

1

Marketing source

A Quill Calls tracking number ties the visit to the exact campaign, ad, or search that brought them to your site.

2

The conversation

The call forwards to your phone system — including Quill Hound — and gets recorded, transcribed, and summarized automatically.

3

The follow-up

Quill Hound drafts a follow-up text and email from what was actually said; the rep reviews it before anything sends.

Questions

Can I buy either product separately?

Yes. Quill Calls is self-serve at its own pricing page. Quill Hound is onboarded per team — get in touch.

What do I gain by using both?

You see which source brought someone to the phone, side by side with what happened on the call and the follow-up it produced.

Do the products share call data automatically?

Not yet for this pair. Forwarding the call is instant; connecting the two records uses an attribution lookup Quill Calls already exposes for another product, not wired up here yet.

How do tracking numbers work with my phone system?

A Quill Calls tracking number forwards to whatever number you already answer on — including a Quill Hound number — the same way it forwards to any other phone system.

Which subscription covers numbers and minutes?

Quill Calls' plan (Starter, Growth, or Scale) covers tracking numbers and minutes. Quill Hound is a separate, per-team subscription.

What setup is required?

Point your Quill Calls tracking number's forwarding destination at your Quill Hound number — no code, the same as pointing it at any other phone system.
